This rig im about to list is one very good and cheap rig with some of the best cheapest componenets.(Very overclockable too) Built to UK prices.

Antec Three Hundred Case (Brill Cooling Rig) £35.07

Gigabyte GA-P31-DS3l £41.47

Intel Pentium E2160 (Its a Core 2 in Disguise) £39.88

(or get a proper labeled dual core instead theyre not much, like an e6300 or higher model)

(or quad core - not sure how much they’re now, quite cheap)

Corsair Twin 2X2048-6400 £33.65

Antec EarthWatts EA 650 Watts (Cheap, Fast, Efficient) £54.75

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 160GB £27.48

Sony Optiarc/NEC AD 7200S-0B

(Does everything including DVD -9 except Blu-Ray and HD) £14.98

GeForce 9600GT Sonic 512MB £79.92

Tuniq Tower 120 £35.13

Total - About £350.00

Or follow the above posters advice. All of the above componenets you can buy from www.scan.co.uk

However, if you’re not large into building your own, then DELL or ZooStorm do some god pc's. check them out. The above components are a good starting point though.
