In response to my previous question “Can I remove or delete backup data from my hard drive?”, I received some great answers that instilled immense relief in me. I understand it can be done! Phew.

I do not know how to remove or transfer the backup data. If possible, please supply idiot proof answers in steps. Many thanks, in advance.

Answer:
Go to Windows Explorer. Locate the folder containing the Backup.

Select the folder and press DELETE.

To be safe you should OPEN the folder and choose the files you are certain you wish to DELETE.

To TRANSFER folder or files depends upon the size. They could be transferred to a memory stick before deletion or alternatively transferred to an external hard drive.
