How wouls i find out the make and manufacturer of the mother board without opening theis pc?

I tried crucial and cpuz and neither could determine who made the motherb
To those of you present yesterday the man who sold me the ram for the pc has concurred to give a replacement and wants to know the make and manu of the mom b for compatibility.

It will tell you that and lots more but if you just want to know what type of RAM to get the easiest way is to go to

and run the system scanner and it will tell you exactly what RAM you need

this is a FREE program and will tell you everything you want to know about your board. I use it all the time when I can't even find the name printed on the mother board and will give you info on the bios as well.

SiSoftware would probably tell you all of that info, download the FREE version. It will tell you the Memory Speed, version of BIOS, and all sorts of other good stuff.

When you boot up hit f2 (i think) and this will take you into setup etc. I believe there’s a bit that tells you whats connected etc.
