do i have to install a certain directx,getting yellow lines across screen still. took the card out and pc works fine?????wheres the problem

It seems the problem is with the VGA card. particles & Artifacts are mainly caused by driver issues but the yellow vertical lines are different. Try to check the card on another Computer to confirm if the card is really ok.

Sounds like you got a bad card man. Insure that you have the lastest drivers, if not pick them up from Nvidia.com and go to Download Drivers. If you’ve onboard video and that works without any glitching then you probably have a bad card. Contact the company you purchased it from and look into getting a replacement. Happy gaming.

prob the card, if theres a broken line in the card (faulty wiring) that could definitely be it. Or it could be the driver, try in/reinstalling the driver to the card. It should be a cd

I would advise that you send the card back to the shop which you got it from. it really sounds like the card is Dud or faulty.
