hi mate

this is a common problem with some mice, infact my wifes mouse would jump to the corner of the screen at random occasions, however since i bought another optical mouse the problems dissapeared

so my advice is buy another optical mouse and more importantly another mouse mat, preferbly a felt mat as these are the ideal type, try to avoid ball mice as these are very inaccurate and have their own agenda, and wireless mice(and keyboards) are also very unreliable, especially when you’ve other wireless hardware and peripherals, all this wireless hardware such as routers, mobile phones and laptop wifi connections all require air space and a wireless mouse can become pretty erratic if other hardware is used

so in reflection you need to 1) buy a new “wired” optical mouse and 2) a felt mouse mat

this should then stop the erratic moves by your mouse

any problems let me know

good luck mate !

Answer:
If it's a wireless mouse try moving the reciever dongle closer to the mouse, like plugging it into a hub on your desk. Is there anyone else around you using a wireless mouse which could be interfering with yours? And finally, if it only happens while surfing, could your wireless connectionto your router or modem be interfering with it?

Answer:
If you've got a ball type mouse, clean it.

If you've got a laser type mose (opitical), make sure it is on a flat surface.

Whatever type of mouse you're using, get a mouse mat for it.
