Quite simple - when you attach the external hard drive, it will appear as an icon or drive in My Computer. now simply click on it to open and drag the folders you want to save into the new drive. You can also right click any files/folders you want to move to the new drive and look down the list to “send to..” then choose the external drive. You can either copy the files there or move them absolutely. Good luck!
