i have removed my pci graphic card and enabled by onboard one (motherboard) competely. i started up the pc and it all seem ok i had picture but as soon as it got to desktop the picture when balck and a message box came up saying 'out of range'. any one with ideas plz. thanks

start in safe mode by pressing F8 during the boot. Go to device manager and uninstall the previous video driver. If no driver is specified you might need to temporarily put back the graphics card then go to safe mode, go to device manager uninstall the card. Shut down the machine remove the card again and reboot, the PC should boot up with standard VGA driver and display should be fine
