i just brought vista any1 no how to turn aero on

Right Click on your desktop and choose “Personalize”

then select “Window Color and Appearance”

There should be a selection there that states “Windows Aero”

Select that and click “Apply” or “Ok”

another way to get to the personalization screen is…

Control Panel-> Apperance and Personalization-> Personalization

(If you're using a laptop, you nearly 100% garanteed don't.)

If you *do* have a Dx10 capable video card, make sure you have the latest drivers (or if it is an ATi card, the last half dozen or so issued drivers are Dx10 capable, and the latest is Dx10.1 capable).

Other than that, you'd use the Control Panel (Desktop) to do so.
