Hello everyone

I’m wanting to get a video card but I still am not sure which one is compatible with my motherboard PM8PM-V as it has an integrated one. Would it be AGP o PCI? Can you help me with this one please? Here more specifications for my motherboard:

Im adding more to the answer above

Your motherborad has an x8 AGP so any AGP card out there will work on it

Since you’re upgrading the graphics I assume you want to play games.

Check how much RAM memory you’ve by right clicking My Personal and go to properties. It will state something like “512MB of RAM”

If its below 512MB I'd suggest to upgrade to 512MB or 1GB of RAM as this would run everything more smoothly.

Your motherboard will take DDR2 PC3200 (400MHz) or PC4200 (533MHz)

Hope that clears things up!

PS. about the DVD, get an IDE one as you’ve 2 IDE slots, to up to 4 devices just like andy said above

Answer:
from the info i can tell you that your board supports AGP graphics cards and if you were to purchase a dvd burner it supports IDE
