By usb mouse works fine but each 30 seconds it stops working temporarily for about 1 second and then comes back to life again. When it happens it makes the sound that you usually hear when you unplug and plug in a USB device.

What should I do to solve the problem?

Answer:
Hello,

When you got this intermittent issue, you should achieve the following troubleshoots to find the cause:

Usage related:

Press the connect buttons on the mouse and / or receiver according to the user manual for the product. See if it helps, connect buttons usually scan emitters and switch the wireless channel. When a disturbance from a source in the vicinity obstructs the signals, switching channels is the ideal solution.

Software causes:

1. One by one, shut down each non-important program that is running in your system, check the smaller icons on the right side of task bar, they are running too.

2. Update the mouse's software and drivers. If ever you give up and call the manufacturer's hotline, that's the first thing they'll ask you to do.

Hardware causes:

1. Plug the receiver on a free USB port directly on your computer to ensure available power. Try different ports as well to check if the problem is related to one USB port or hub.

2. Unplug all other USB devices as they can drain the power, if the test shows they do cause the failure, try and plug them on a different USB to see if conflicts still occurs. Some people will advise to use an external USB hub with its own power supply.

Hardware causes are much up to the other computer parts and how Windows manages the interruptions and power to the peripherals. If ever your mouse is defective, you can check it by installing it on a different personal system to see if it does the exact same thing.

I hope this helps!

Answer:
check to see if the connection is good. the connection might be bad with the mouse and the wiring of the personal.

try pluging and unplugging. if it still doesnt work, get a new mouse.

dont re install the drivers. that will just screw up your personal, cause the problem isn’t with the personal itself but with the mouse-computer usb connection.

or try putting the mouse in a different usb slot?

Answer:
If your system is a couple years old or more, check with either Microsoft or the display manufacturer Web site for an updated display driver. If there’s one, follow instructions and install the new driver.

You might also try Microsoft's Knowledge Base and refer to the intellimouse in a search for “erratic mouse pointer” or something similar.

Answer:
Sprinkle a tiny cheese on your mouse pad. Then, each now-n-then, put the mouse on some of the cheese and watch the change come over your mouse. I had the same problem with mine and everything is great between us now. My mouse is so much happier too! I just wish I had done that sooner!

Answer:
dude u might have a loose USB connection ckh it .or else chk weather the other USB devices a re working proper or not or else purchase a new on i have samsung & i m using it since last 2 yrs and its working perfectly allright.

Answer:
How many other USB devices are you using?

I've heard that on some systems, using too many USB devices can drain power, resulting in some being underpowered.

Try unplugging all other usb devices and see if that helps
