Mac book/laptop!?!?!?

simple question… if i was to take my macbook hard drive out and put it on my laptop and installed windows would it work?

The cable connections need to be the same.Depending on whether that hard drive is (PATA) (parallel advanced technology attachment) or (SATA) (serial advanced technology attachment) it attaches via a (PATA) transfer cable to the motherboard or a (SATA) transfer cable to the motherboard respectively. Both are (IDE) Devices, Integrated Drive Electronics/ Interface. In either case there is also a power supply cord attached to it from the (Power Supply unit) to provide it with power.

I would say don't chance it, go to your nearest Apple store and they will do it for you. (because you don't want to end up braking your mac)

If you formatted it before installing Windows, yes. A hard drive is a hard drive.
