i've asked this question before but didn't get an answer that worked,

it's not the router as i'm on a different computer and it's working fine,

on mine it states that ''no wireless networks are available'', and i tried plugging the cable into it but my computer just can't seem to connect to it. what can i do to fix this?

i really need help as i'm not going to be able to use this comp any longer and i need internet access for college work.

thanks

Answer:
Try re-installing the network drivers. But i take it thats what you were told in your last question.

Chances are you might have had a hard-ware failure. Try installing a new network card into one of the PCI slots. There fairly cheap.

Answer:
well first off all have you tried a system restore?

this can be done by going to Computer HELP AND TOOLS and select the date when your internet did work.

If that doesn't work then do a system recovery but first make a rescue disc. if you don't sometimes it deletes everything and sometimes it doesnt delete everything. But either way you have to put in all the updates that you had.

DO THIS ONLY IF SYSTEM RESTORE DIDNT WORK

Answer:
make a brand new connection and delete the old one

this fixed my flaky vista laptop, it then showed all dsl signals within 200 feet of my computer, not just my signal

Answer:
make sure all them plugs are in all the way
