What’s the difference between all the PCMCIA adaptors
I've a tv and it has PCMCIA slot on the back I would like to display photo's that's on a SD card but wondered what else I can do with the slot and which type of Adaptor need
Answer:
A PCMCIA slot is just a standard adaptor slot. It is up to the host device (the Television in your case, the computer in others) to support whatever the card is that you put in. The host device has to have drivers for the card,, and software to understand how to operate the card.
So installing a wireless network card in the Television for example, would do no good, because the TV doesn't have any idea how to operate that card.
