wen i got my laptop i got this microsoft office 2007 aswell, and i got word, powerpoint, excel, but no publisher? but instead i got microsoft onenote. so i want to kow what it is and what it is used for?

TO me is the greatest software (between office programs) You can do EVERYTHING in it .Try this: Open it & go -tools-options & check the box that you want it in task bar. Then -if you do so- any time you click “windows” tab N , it opens a “one note” window for notes .In there you can write , bring pics -with copy/paste- ,bring documents ,move those here or there ,select them all together or separately ,even you can record sound or video -with your web cam- and embed it ,And much-much more …And of course ,everything become auto save .

hah i had this issue when i got mine.

its basically a program to store notes on, like notebook but fancier.

i havent tried out all its functions, but i seems to let you write anywhere on the page so you can jot down any ideas.
